IT was a slimey star-studded affair at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards last night.
While Angelina Jolie hit the orange carpet, it was her two daughters Zahara, 10 and Shiloh, 8, who stole the show, as the 39-year-old made her first public appearance since announcing she had her ovaries removed.
Jolie delivered an empowering speech as she accepted the award for Best Villain in Maleficent as her two daughters watched on.
“I want to say when I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different — and I felt out of place, and too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And then one day I realised something, something I hope you all realise. Different is good.”
Gordon Ramsay also took his wife and two daughters Megan, 16 and Matilda, 13 along to the event, while three of the Beckhams were also present on the night, but there was no sign of David or Victoria.
Eldest son Brooklyn, 16 chaperoned his younger brothers Romeo, 12 and Cruz, 10, to the ceremony while Chris Rock and Jennifer Hudson also brought their offspring.
Performers included Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson, 5 Seconds of Summer and Nick Jonas.
