Australian celebrities flocked to social media over the festive season to share a glimpse of how they celebrated Christmas with their young ones.
For some, it was a day spent at the beach, for many it was a day spent with family.
Here’s how some of Australia’s biggest names spent the holiday.
Purple Wiggle John Pearce and his wife Jessie celebrated their first Christmas as parents.
The couple spent the day surrounded by relatives and of course, their one week old son, Henry.
“Waited nine months for this Christmas gift,” Pearce posted to Instagram with a video of wrapping his newborn in a blanket.
Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth also enjoyed a quintessential Aussie Christmas with his children.
The actor spent the holiday break surfing with his three sons, soaking in the sun and waves.
Hemsworth also joined in on the popular Elf on the Shelf fun, posting his mischievous elves making a mess in the bathroom.
“Merry Christmas everyone, just wanted to say keep your eyes peeled because the elves have done it again, cheeky little buggers they’re everywhere, stay sharp,” he posted to Instagram Boxing Day morning.
Australia’s golden girl and Olympian Jess Fox stayed true to her athletic roots on Christmas Day.
She started off the day at the beach, where she took in the sunrise, went for run and followed it up with a swim.
Other Aussie celebs including fashion designer and socialite Pip Edwards, former cricketer Michael Clarke, and renowned chef Curtis Stone also shared family pictures, sending their warm wishes to followers with heartfelt “Merry Christmas” messages.
