IT WAS one of the most anticipated performances of the night, but when Adele took to the Grammys stage and opened her mouth to sing, fans were left disappointed.
Performing her piano ballad All I Ask, viewers were less than impressed with the sound quality, which appeared to drop out through the performance.
An out of tune guitar was also called out on social media — as well as Adele’s vocals.

But it wasn’t actually an out of tune guitar people were hearing jangling in the background. Adele’s taken to Twitter to explain exactly what happened.
“The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens,” she wrote.
“Because of it though ... I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it.”
Totally worth it.
