In the most comprehensive investigation into the state of NSW schools, The Daily Telegraph can reveal Catholic schools are far more overcrowded than those at public schools.

An analysis of national data from the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) shows that Catholic schools across NSW top the list of schools with the biggest student to teacher ratio.
