The comprehensive analysis of school data looked at the capital expense budgets of almost 3000 NSW schools.
Knox Grammar School — which charged an average of $27,904 per student in 2017, spent more than $64.6 million on capital works in the three years to 2017.
New South Wales’s second highest capital expenditure was at Pymble Ladies’ College, which spent $51.4m over those three years.
The third highest capital works budget was at Newington College, which spent $50.2m on projects.
