DRIVERS are urged to avoid Kent Town and Norwood today while road closures are in place for the Tour Down Under.
The Parade will be closed from Osmond Tce to Portrush Rd today for Stage 3 of the tour, creating a lot of extra traffic in the area.
Road works on West Tce from 8am are also likely to slow traffic for drivers coming from Anzac Highway.
Traffic is starting to slow on South Rd at Daws Rd and on the Freeway and southern Expressway, but all other major roads are running smoothly.
