The Covid jab that will take NSW past the 70 per cent vaccination threshold is likely to be administered today.

NSW’s current vaccination rate is 69.12 per cent of the eligible population, according to data to be confirmed by the federal government this afternoon.

It’s understood that Tuesday was a record day for vaccinations across the country after a slow long weekend.

NSW is set to reach the 70 per cent vaccination threshold today, with that to be confirmed by the Commonwealth on Thursday.
