The NSW Government is also now updating parents on all the latest on the NSW School Updates app.

Officials have said the app will complement the other means of communication available to parents and carers from schools and the Department of Education to ensure families receive timely, accurate information in a crisis.

The app is free and available now for iOS and Android users and you can opt in for notifications about the operational status of as many NSW public schools as you choose.
