NSW has recorded 919 Covid cases and one new death in the last 24 hours, with at least 37 people infectious while in the community.

A man in his 80s from Sydney's north died at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital after he was infected with Covid-19 at Normanhurst's Greenwood Aged Care.

His death is in addition to a woman in her 30s who died at her Emerton home, that health authorities announced on Tuesday afternoon.

More than 125,000 people received the Covid vaccine in the last 24 hours, meaning a third of the state is fully vaccinated.
