NSW Covid Updates: 356 cases, four deaths

NSW has recorded its worst day since the pandemic began with 356 new Covid cases, three local deaths and another from hotel quarantine.
None of the three local deaths, a man and woman in their 80s and a man in his 70s, were vaccinated. The fourth death was a returned traveller in his 80s who died in hospital after being transported from quarantine.

There have been no additional cases reported in Armidale, Tamworth or Byron however a potential new case is being investigated on the north coast.
The two children of an infected man who travelled to Byron, sparking the region's lockdown, have now tested positive.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian said on Tuesday that about a third of today's new cases had "some exposure in the community" during their infectious periods.
