NSW Covid alerts: Minchinbury funeral, Bondi pubs exposed to virus
Alerts have been issued for a funeral and two Bondi pubs as NSW recorded 222 new Covid cases and four more deaths.

Health officials have put funeralgoers in Sydney’s west and punters at two Bondi venues on notice after the sites were found to be Covid venues of concern.
It comes as NSW recorded 222 new Covid cases overnight and four more people died from the virus.
NSW Health issued an urgent alert overnight for Pinegrove Memorial Park in Minchinbury around concerns for a funeral held there in late October.
The funeral was held at the North Chapel of Pinegrove Memorial Park in Minchinbury on Saturday, October 30 from 10am and the wake was held at a private residence in Llandilo on Saturday and Sunday.
“Anyone who attended either the funeral or the wake is a close contact and must immediately get tested, self-isolate and follow the close contact advice regardless of the result,” NSW Health said in a statement on Monday night.
Health sources said the funeral was large and officials were concerned it could become a superspreader event.
It comes as The Pacific Club Bondi Beach and Tea Gardens Hotel were issued alerts by NSW Health, with the venues labelled transmission sites of concern.
Anyone who was at The Pacific Club Bondi Beach on Tuesday, November 2 between 1pm and 5pm has been classified as a close contact and told to isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.
Visitors to The Tea Gardens Hotel between 5pm to 10pm on October 20, 7pm to midnight on October 23 and 12am and 2am on October 24 have also been advised to get tested and isolate for 14 days.

The venue was first identified as a site of concern last week, with at least 10 Covid cases linked to the hotel, according to NSW Health.
Other venues of concern have also been identified in Corrimal, Ivanhoe, Moree, Port Macquarie, South Kempsey, Tolland and Williamtown overnight.

Almost 94 per cent of NSW residents have had one dose of a Covid vaccine, while 89.9 per cent are fully vaccinated.
