How to register your positive RAT result through Service NSW

People who return a positive RAT result will need to register the test through Service NSW or face a $1,000 fine.
The system for reporting positive at-home tests went live at 9am on Wednesday morning, with almost 55,600 people uploading their positive test with Service NSW on the first day.
People who have tested positive since January 1 are encouraged to register their positive result, but mandatory reporting comes into effect from today, customer service minister Victor Dominello said.
Anyone who fails to upload a positive RAT result will face a $1,000 fine but the penalty will only be enforced from January 15.
Premier Dominic Perrottet said anyone who tested positive on a RAT swab will need to register their result through Service NSW here.
NSW reported a record 21 Covid deaths on Wednesday with 34,759 new infections were detected on PCR tests. Seven of the deaths were historical.
“Four were reported since December 20 three, one relates to a death in September and the second in October,” chief health officer Kerry Chant said.
The historical deaths were reported following investigations by the coroner.
There are 2242 people in hospital with the virus, with 175 of those in intensive care, up from 2186 and 170 respective on Tuesday.
