While many NSW citizens might be left in despair listening to the daily coronavirus updates, one social media creator decided the best way to cope is by getting creative.

TikTok user Danny Stern created the remix titled Stop the Spread from the various catchphrases used by Premier Gladys Berejiklian in her Covid updates and fellow content creator Bronte Crawley has made a choregraphed dance to match the tunes.

“Petition for Gladys B to learn this dance for the next press conference,” Ms Crawley wrote alongside her hit video, which has been shared more than 20,000 times and has more than 121,000 likes.

The viral dance has been picked up by hundreds of people including user Sean Corcoran who performed the routine in a spiderman suit while others decided to bring their friends and partners on board to dance in unison.

Ms Berejiklian’s favourite phrases “Please know” and “I cannot stress enough” feature heavily in the song before it ends on a hilarious note with the state leader saying “I don’t know the answer to that”.
