Coronavirus NSW: The NYE entertainment proving the show must go on

While crowds have been banned in the CBD on New Year’s Eve, those who nabbed bookings at harbourside venues will be allowed in for their celebrations.

2020: Australian capital cities memorable New Year fireworks display

With crowds banned from the harbour foreshore this New Year’s Eve, there’s still some prime viewing spots available for the single fireworks display, at a price.

Those who already nabbed bookings at harbourside venues will be allowed in for their celebrations, including sit-down dinners and roving cocktail events.

“It’s going to feel a lot more intimate this year – most of our bookings are for tables of two, rather than the large New Year’s Eve groups we usually have,” head chef of Kingsleys Woolloomooloo, Silvana Parisi, said.
