THE Australian dollar is back above 94 US cents as the greenback continues to weaken.

At 0630 AEST on Wednesday, the local currency was trading at 94.01 US cents, up from 93.87 cents on Tuesday.

The Australian dollar has been strengthening since last week’s losses, when it plummeted on the back of surprisingly strong US jobs figures and comments from the Reserve Bank governor that the currency was overvalued.
