Aussie A-lister’s son rocks a wild airport outfit

The children of famous people often do their best to keep a low profile but not all of them do.

The children of famous people often do their best to keep a low profile. Some even try changing their names so they slink into obscurity, and then there’s Chance Hogan.

Among the mass of relaxed Aussie travellers in shorts and thongs, there was an A-lister’s son, and he wasn’t being subtle about it.

The biggest reason Chance failed to blend in was that he opted for two head coverings, which are very Justin Bieber chic.

The 27-year-old was seen smoking before wandering through Sydney airport, wearing two hats.

One looked like it was made of leather, which is not breathable, and the other was made of straw, which is more breathable, but the leather option definitely foiled its breathability.

He paired the hats; once again, I can’t stress enough that multiple hats were worn, with a band T-shirt, grey jeans, sneakers with a rock star vibe, and a distressed denim jacket.

It was the most unsubtle outfit a man could find at short notice.

No one would have judged anyone for having to do a double-take to make sure Jared Leto wasn’t wandering by the airport check-in.

Nope, just a famous man’s son.

What was most intriguing about the outfit was that it felt dated.

It was the outfit you’d have seen a guitar player in an early 2000s punk-rock band wear.

The whole look is rumpled and thrown together, but then they sport enough accessories to expose that they’re really trying, and this isn’t just what passed the sniff test from their bedroom floor.

You know, the type of band where the lead singer complains through sad boy lyrics about being broken-hearted while simultaneously admitting he is a cheater.

The 27-year-old, in case the hat tribute didn’t give it away, is the only son of Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski.

Chance’s parents met and fell in love on the set of the Aussie classic Crocodile Dundee. The pair were actually together for over 20 years before calling it quits in 2004.

The 27-year-old who resides in America was actually in Sydney being a supportive son and attending his dad, Hogan’s Crocodile Dundee film event, where Hogan was celebrating the encore version of the 1980s cultural classic.

Chance ditched the red carpet, but he was seen enjoying a few drinks afterwards and even animatedly chatting while a bin chicken held strong eye contact with him, which is sadly a very common experience in Australia.

It is unclear if Chance knows about the complex relationship Aussies have with bin chickens.

They are less seen as friendly critters and more chip thieves!

Besides the showstopping outfits, Chance is just a regular guy in his twenties.

He is the lead singer of the band Rowdy P, and his Instagram makes it clear he spends his time living like most people in their twenties: hanging with his friends, going to gigs, and travelling.

Occasionally, Chance has received media attention for partying, but his Dad recently dismissed any concerns about his behaviour to the Daily Mail.

When asked if he was worried about his 27-year-old son, he gave a very Aussie dad response and said “nah”.

He then added, “It’s a lot of made up stuff and a lot of it he does on purpose”.
