A man will front court on Friday accused of trying to procure a child in Sydney’s north west earlier this month.
Police will allege a man approached a 14-year-old boy in Eastwood on October 1 before showing him messages of sexually explicit acts he wished to do with a child.
Following investigations officers searched a home in Telopea about 10am Thursday where they seized a number of items, including a mobile phone.
A 52-year-old man was arrested at the property and taken to Ryde police station where he was charged with procuring a child for unlawful sexual activity.
He was bail refused and will appear at Burwood Local Court on Friday.
