Detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered near a school in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services were called to Coogee Bay Rd in Coogee about 7.45am on Monday after they received reports a body had been found.
Police said about 8.30am the man was yet to be formally identified.
NCA NewsWire understand the death is no longer being treated as suspicious, but police investigations continue.
Eastern Beaches Police Area Command have cordoned off a unit block as they continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Coogee Bay Rd is a busy thoroughfare that runs down to the popular Coogee Beach, about 7.5km from Sydney’s city centre.
