Emergency services rushed to Leaver Court at Ormeau on the Gold Coast just before 10pm Friday.
Police found a 68-year-old woman unresponsive.
She was declared dead at the scene.
Queensland Police are now investigating, with the home now considered a crime scene.
No one has been arrested, while investigations remain ongoing.
