An 82-year-old man will face court in Sydney on Saturday after he was charged with the alleged murder of a woman whose body was found “severely emaciated”, police say.
The 60-year-old woman’s body was discovered by paramedics on Friday.
After receiving report about a medical episode, paramedics were called a home on Pandora Street at Greenacre in Sydney’s south west shortly before 11am.
Paramedics called police after they found the woman’s “severely emaciated” body inside the home.
The man was arrested at the scene and police allege he was the woman’s sole carer.
He has been refused bail by police and will appear in Parramatta bail court.
