A man has been charged over what he allegedly did in front of a female passenger on a train in Sydney.

A man has been arrested and charged for allegedly committing a lewd sex act in front of another passenger on a Sydney train earlier this year.
A 21-year-old woman boarded a train at Redfern on August 22 when another passenger exposed himself and performed a lewd act in front of her.
The women reported the incident to Redfern police who launched an investigation.
A 48-year-old man was arrested at a home in Eastlakes just before 7am Tuesday.
He was taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with carrying out a sex act without consent.
The accused was granted conditional bail and will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on November 18.
