Today’s quest: try to work out how North Korean poverty is anything at all to do with “the vivid intensity with which the rest of us are destroying our home”.

It all makes sense to the ABC’s Jonathan Green:

I guess this shows two things: 1. Jonathan looks at light and sees decay, and 2. a blighted, ruinous North Korea and a lively, illuminated free world are both bad.

UPDATE. This explains everything. Carlton has lost seven night matches so far this year. It’s made poor Blues fan Jonathan hate electricity.
