Kevni has Something to Say, as Usual

Nothing escapes the attention of my number one superfan, former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

The Queensland-based administrative interference hobbyist allowed himself to become agitated by this little blog item, which for purposes of comparison referred to events from more than 15 years ago.

Rudd responded with a letter published in today’s Daily Telegraph:

Note that "Kevni" has been changed to "Kevin"
Note that "Kevni" has been changed to "Kevin"

You know he’s reading this, so let’s all wish him well.

UPDATE. Before Kevin and Malcolm, we had the original miserable ghost. The Mocker reviews John Hewson’s latest setback:

Last week former Liberal leader Dr John Hewson learned that his SMH/Age column is no more. His reaction to this was typical of the forbearance and grace he has demonstrated when other institutions that had engaged him, whether they be business, academia, or political, decided he was not quite the right fit …

Like another Member for Wentworth, he could not let go of his grievances. As with Malcolm Turnbull, his was an ego that could not accept the party was the worse for his leadership, or that it later recovered under the direction of another.

Having discovered the leftist media would duchess and indulge embittered Liberals, Hewson became their go-to “conservative”. Pandering to inner-city sentiment, he lambasted Coalition governments and ministers for not living up to his newly acquired humanitarian ideals.

Besides spectral bitterness, the ghosts all share inner-city sentiments. Something to consider there for any politician not wishing to join their wraithlike ranks.

UPDATE II. It even looks a little like Turnbull, what with that big domey head and all:
