HYSTERIA BABIES TAKE THE DAY OFF SCHOOL

In an act of perfect symmetry, Sydney children will deny themselves knowledge tomorrow in order to cry about climate change.

In an act of perfect symmetry, Sydney children will deny themselves knowledge tomorrow in order to cry about climate change:

Fort St High School’s Jean Hinchliffe will lead students across Sydney on a school strike on Friday campaigning for action on climate change.

The 14-year-old from Birchgrove said she will walk out of Fort St High School with her peers on Friday and march to the NSW parliament.

She has always felt passionate about climate change, she said.

Just an idea, but how about these kids demonstrate their passion by striking during the holidays? They could refuse to fly anywhere with their families and decline any interstate road trips, instead staying at home to have all their carbon dioxide-emitting pets euthanased. Go for it, children.

Balmain MP Jamie Parker is supporting Jean’s campaign and will join their strike.

Of course he will. He’s still repeating Year 9. Here’s another teen climate striker:

I am Veronica, 15 years old, from Scott Morrison’s electorate. Despite our Prime Minister’s calls for students not to strike from school on Friday, we’re choosing to no longer be powerless. We will be striking with thousands of other students, to show we will not stand for our government’s inaction on climate change.

You don’t have jobs. You’re not striking.

In school, we have seen the raw truth of climate change: videos of our dead and dying Great Barrier Reef, increasingly shocking statistics, forecasts of a worrying future.

In school, you’ve been brainwashed.

Seeing this, we students do not shout at each other across the classroom. We sit in a shocked silence.

The brighter kids in these classrooms will be gathering evidence for lucrative trauma lawsuits.

Afterwards, we shout, with our signs and our demands. Because how can an educated person know all we know, and do nothing?

Destroy your mobile phones. I dare you. The global leader of this bludging child phenomena is some absurdly earnest teenage Aspie in Stockholm:

A 15-year-old Swedish student, Greta Thunberg, was alone and frustrated when she started striking from school to protest climate inaction in politics. Now she’s sparked a global movement.

Being in Sweden, you’d think she’d be more concerned about a different global movement. Still, credit where it’s due. I was never this creative when I was skiving off school. And maybe a few extra days outside of their classrooms may lead to the gradual erosion of state-enforced climate insanity.
