Peter FitzSimons, you see, was absolutely convinced NSW Liberal MP Craig Kelly would lose. But I believed otherwise:

If comma bumbler Pete gets this right, I’ll buy one of his stupid books – there’s a second-hand joint nearby – and read it on Sydney Harbour Bridge while wearing a red bandana. To complete my humiliation, I’ll invite any nearby Frenchmen to slap me.

Result: Kelly collected a 1.26 per cent swing on first preferences and held his seat with a 19,000-vote margin.
