Dainty Doily Door Handle De-Heaters

We’ve had a few warm days out here recently, during which various exterior door handles at the Blair compound were subject to many hours of direct sunlight.

As the thermometer image reveals, peak door handle temperature reached 54.7 degrees – or more than 130 on the old Fahrenheit scale. This made use of the door handles momentarily and very slightly uncomfortable.

A solution was required. I proposed to sit down in front of traffic until global warming stopped and the door handles became less ouchy, but the missus had a better idea: why not buy and install anti-scald door handle protector cushion covers?
