Choo-Choo Joe Takes a Ride on the Mystery Train
Present Joe Biden with any scenario. Within moments, his peculiar dishonesty will demand he become part of it.
A shrink may see in his behaviour signs of grandiose narcissism complicated by Alzheimer’s disease. Either that or he’s just a president-sized idiot jug filled to the brim with madness and vanity. Check the record:
In July 2021, Biden told Los Angeles Dodgers players visiting the White House that he’d hit a 368-foot home run during a congressional baseball game during the 1970s.
There are no records of this.
Biden also claimed to have worked as a truck driver – “I used to drive an 18-wheeler, man” – when visiting a Mack truck factory and said he was “a hard coalminer” when meeting members of the United Mine Workers.
And Biden last year exaggerated the impact of a harmless kitchen fire at his house while addressing survivors of Hawaiian wildfires that killed more than 110 people.
The President’s fictions are frequently crafted to suit his audience. But Biden can also create a self-serving fantasy out of available circumstances, such as he did following yesterday’s shocking Baltimore bridge disaster.
“At about 1:30,” Biden said in a televised statement, “a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which I’ve been over many, many times commuting from the state of Delaware either on a train or by car.”
Small problem there, Joe:
JUST IN: President Biden reveals that he took the train over the Francis Scott Key Bridge "many times" during his commute even though the bridge didn't have train tracks.

Very impressive!

Difficult to tell which is a more apt Biden presidential metaphor here: the slow-moving juggernaut aiming for destruction, or the imaginary train tracks leading America to nowhere.
Your call.
UPDATE. Yet still he's genuinely in the race:
âPresident Joe Biden has gained ground against Donald Trump in six of seven key swing states, and significantly so in at least two of them. The results make for the Democratâs strongest position yet in a monthly Bloomberg News poll.â https://t.co/6BqOj3Tkia

UPDATE II. Status - plausible:
This is going to be the best election ever. Trump will be leading in the polls because of immigration chaos and then he will try to make the election a referendum about Stop The Steal and start losing and then Biden will mumble incoherently and fall down some stairs and the⦠https://t.co/7Itf2geU0E
