AUSTRALIAN comedy legend Kevin Bloody Wilson has told how, somewhat unsurprisingly, political correctness has had zero effect on his career.
AUSTRALIAN comedy legend Kevin Bloody Wilson today told Daily Telegraph columnist Miranda Devine how, somewhat unsurprisingly, political correctness has had zero effect on his career.
Speaking after reports that had him declaring political correctness had “killed Australian comedy”, Wilson, remarking how fully booked and popular he remains, said: “My dance-card’s very full, thanks.”
The man behind such classics Do Ya F--- on First Dates, Absolute C--- of a Day and Supa Mega Fugly said: “Political correctness has never been a consideration when I write a song or I’m relating a story.
“I relate a story as if you and I were sitting at the corner of a public bar having a few beers.”
In warning Wilson to “keep it clean” on air, the host told the guests: “I hope you don’t mind not bloody swearing on the show.”
In other issues on today’s podcast, NSW police minister Troy Grant explains why the state government would not support pill-testing at music festival, and business figure Jennifer Westacott outlines a right-wing movement to address the future of Australian commerce.
