Bikie gang associate Mark Judge accused of ''rough justice'

SYDNEY bikie gang associate Mark Judge was simply dishing out some "rough justice” when he bashed a furniture store owner who had failed to repay a $70,000 loan, a court has heard.

Judge, who was last year found cowering in a Bellevue Hill bedroom with former Home and Away star Jodi Gordon fearing there were gunmen on the property, has pleaded guilty to malicious wounding of Steven Weir in 2005 in the District Court.

The incident in April 2005 came almost a year after Mark Judge loaned Mr Weir the large sum without security, as very little had been repaid.

“If I don't get my money, I'll cut [your] little finger off and then a week later your arm off,'' Judge told Mr Weir, according to police documents.
“You have two weeks to get me $25,000 or I'll take your finger off.'”

But at a sentencing hearing today, lawyers for the bikie associate accused Mr Weir of in fact being Judge’s drug dealer – which he “emphatically” denied.

Mr Weir was adamant the money was for a legitimate business with two others involving the training and selling of horses.

Judge’s barrister Winston Terracini SC suggested to Mr Weir he had “supplied drugs to a number of people, especially vulnerable young men” and the debt related to the supply of the drug ice.

“No, of course not,” Mr Weir replied.

The sentencing hearing continues.
