BYRON Bay woman Sara Connor has split with her lover David Taylor, with whom she was convicted of a role in the killing of a Bali police officer one year ago.
Sources at Kerobokan prison, where both are held, say the pair is no longer a couple and barely speak to each other in the wake of their convictions, after previously being photographed inside the jail kissing and cuddling.
It comes as Connor recently saw her two children for the first time since being jailed a year ago.

Insiders say the two boys arrived at the jail with Connor’s former husband Anthony “Twig” Connor and spent a week visiting her each day, bringing food and treats.
Prison guards said the first reunion was emotional and everyone was in tears.
It was the first time the 46-year-old businesswoman had seen the boys, aged nine and 11 when she was arrested, since she and Taylor were arrested in the days after a Bali police officer was bashed to death on a Kuta beach.
Connor and British DJ Taylor were charged with murder but subsequently convicted of group violence causing death.
Connor was sentenced to four years jail, increased to five years on appeal. Taylor, who was convicted of the major role in the brutal killing, was sentenced to six years.
Connor and Taylor were both eligible for a one-month sentence remission as part of the annual Independence Day remissions granted to all prisoners in Indonesia yesterday.
But their paperwork has yet to be sent from the courts and they will now be granted the sentence cuts at a later time.
The couple did not come out of their cells to attend the Independence Day flag raising and ceremony inside Kerobokan jail.

Their split is in contrast to the early days of the arrest and trial, when they were frequently seen together kissing and canoodling inside the jail and arriving at court handcuffed together.
But their relationship cooled after the verdict and amid Connor’s belief that she was sentenced harshly for a crime for which she was not involved.
Taylor, at the time, told the court that he killed officer Wayan Sudarsa in self-defence during a vicious fight on the beach amid claims the officer had stolen Connor’s handbag.
“She split with David after the verdict,” one jail source told News Corporation.
“They never meet, even at the visiting area, when they have their respective visitors, they stand in different places, not together. They don’t talk to each other.”
This is contrast to the early days of their arrest when they would frequently come together to the visit area.
Connor now keeps herself busy in jail involved in a knitting project and is teaching other inmates to make clothes and other articles.
There are plans to set up a knitting class in the jail.
She is known to be close to British grandmother Lindsay Sandiford, who is on death row on drug trafficking charges.
Jail officials said that when Connor’s children and former husband visited recently, they were all emotional.
“When they first met they were all hysterical, all of them were crying. But after that Sara was very happy,” an official said.
It was Connor and Taylor’s love affair which saw them in Bali last August for a romantic getaway which ultimately ended with the death of the police officer and both behind bars.
Taylor had lost his Australian visa and had been forced to leave the country.
So Connor decided to travel to Bali for a holiday with him as he attempted to sort out his visa issues.
She had only arrived in Bali earlier, on the day of the killing.
After dinner the lovers had gone to the beach at night to drink beer and catch up where they came across the officer, who was on duty at the time.
After being accused by Taylor of stealing Connor’s handbag the officer and Taylor started fighting.
Taylor bashed him about the head with a beer bottle in what he said was self-defence.
Connor maintained her innocence, claiming that she tried to break up the two men and never hit the officer.
The court heard that when the couple left him dying on the beach, Officer Sudarsa lived for another two hours and may have survived if the couple had called for help.
Mr Sudarsa’s widow Ketut Arsini, who angrily turned down offers of money from both Connor and Taylor during their trials, now just wants to move on with her life and told News Corporation she did not want to make any further comments.
