Your guide to Anzac Day services on the Gold Coast

AS the nation pauses to remember the fallen on Anzac Day, on the centenary of the Gallipoli campaign, tens of thousands are expected to attend services on the Gold Coast.

AS we pause to remember the fallen on the centenary of the Gallipoli landing, Gold Coast services are expected to be packed with thousands of people.
Here’s your full list to services across the city.
Burleigh Heads
Dawn Service: 4.15am arrival for 4.28am service, War Memorial Park, Burleigh Heads Cenotaph, corner of Connor Street and Gold Coast Highway.

March: 9.30am. March assembles at 9.15am, corner of West St and James St, Burleigh Heads.

Route: Cnr of West St/James St to War Memorial Park, Burleigh Heads Cenotaph.

Coolangatta/ Tweed Heads

Dawn Service: 4.30am, Jack Evans Boat Harbour, Wharf St, Tweed Heads. A re-enactment of the Gallipoli Landing at beginning of service.

Morning service: 8.30am, Tweed Heads South Cemetery, Kirkwood Road West.

March: March assembles 10am in Goodwin Park.

Route: Goodwin Park, Coolangatta, to memorial.

Service: 11am, War Memorial, Chris Cunningham Park, Coolangatta.

Dawn service: 5am, Elephant Rock, Currumbin Beach.

Dawn march: March assembles 4.20am at Murraba Street, Currumbin.

Service: 11.15am, Currumbin RSL, 165 Duringan St.

Parade: 10.40am, march assembles at Winders Park, Duringan Street.

Route: Along Duringan St from Winders Park.

Dawn service: 4.45am, Nerang RSL Memorial Club, 69 Nerang Street.

March: 9.30am, March assembles at Arthur Earle Park from 9.15am.

Route: Arthur Earle Park through Ferry Road across Pantz Bridge, to Nerang Street and the Cenotaph.

Route: Short St to Marine Pde and Gold Coast Hway to Anzac Park.

Morning march: 7am, march assembles in Short St for 8am start.

Route: Short St to Marine Pde and Gold Coast Hway to Anzac Park.

Service: 9am Anzac Park, Gold Coast Hway, Southport.

Dawn service: 5am, War Memorial in Centenary Park, corner of Springbrook Rd and Carrick Rd.

March/service: 10.20am for 10.45am start, assemble at the general store on Forestry Rd.

Dawn march: 5.15am for 5.30am start at Surfers Paradise RSL.

Route: From Surfers Paradise RSL on Beach Rd to The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise Beach.

Dawn service: 5.30am at War Memorial, The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise.

Morning march: 11.30am for noon start from The Esplanade to Cavill Ave.

Route: The Esplanade, from Soul building to Elkhorn Avenue through Cavil Mall and continue through Surfers Paradise to the Cenotaph in Cavill Park, Cavill Ave.

Afternoon service: 12.30pm at Surfers Paradise Cenotaph, Cavill Ave.
