A day in the life of an ADFA cadet

AT the start of World War I nearly one hundred years ago, the number of people volunteering to enlist in Australia’s war efforts was so high recruitment officers were forced to turn people away.

Today, many young people still feel a sense of duty to their country, with 340 young men and women enrolling each year at ADFA as Army officer cadets, air force officer cadets or Navy midshipmen since January 1986.

Four ADFA cadets share their thoughts about why they enrolled in this video.
