A Sydney man been seriously injured in a stabbing

POLICE found a man in his 20s outside a Sydney home covered in stab wounds.

A SYDNEY man is in a serious condition in hospital after a stabbing attack overnight.

The victim was found outside a home in Claymore, southwest Sydney, about 1.30am this morning.

When emergency services arrived at the Preston Way house they found the man, who is aged in his 20s, had been stabbed a number of times.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Detectives from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command were still at the scene this morning. No arrests have been made.
