Woman charged with running over police officer’s foot, ramming cop car
A woman has been charged after she allegedly ran over a police officer and rammed an unmarked cop car as she tried to evade cops in a shopping centre car park.

A woman who allegedly drove over a police officer has been charged with serious assault following the traumatic incident.
According to police, the woman was driving a yellow Ford Falcon in the carpark at Allenstown Shopping Centre in Rockhampton, when she was intercepted by an unmarked police car around 8pm Wednesday.
As officers ran towards the woman’s car, police allege the woman slammed her car in reverse and drove over the top of an officer’s foot.
The woman then allegedly smashed into the parked police car behind her, before she fled the scene.
The woman, who was yesterday allegedly on the run from police, has been arrested and charged with serious assault police, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possess anything used in a crime and fail to dispose of a syringe.
The 43-year-old from Cooee Bay will front the Gladstone Magistrates Court today, while the police officer did not require hospitalisation.
Police seized the Ford Falcon.
