Southern Cross Sports Club worker threatened at gunpoint in robbery
Three men are in police custody after they allegedly robbed a Brisbane sport club at gunpoint. They allegedly fled the scene in a car and drove more than 50km before being arrested by police.

A woman has been threatened at gunpoint when three thugs dressed in balaclavas robbed a sports club in Mount Gravatt.
Police will allege that around midnight on Saturday three men wearing balaclavas, one armed with a rifle, entered the sports club on the corner of Lumpp and Logan Rd where they then threatened a female worker.
They stole a large sum of cash and fled the club in a black Holden Astra, police allege.
The accused drove more than 50km to Moreton Bay in the early hours of Sunday morning before being intercepted by police with a tyre deflation device on Main St in Narangba, it is alleged.
Police claim the men fled the vehicle but were arrested shortly after.
They are expected to be charged later today.
The Southern Cross Sports Club was to open as usual today.
