Police are investigating after a rideshare driver was assaulted and his car stolen in Brisbane’s south overnight.

A rideshare driver was assaulted and his car stolen in Brisbane’s south overnight.
Police say at 9.10pm, the driver picked up four male passengers from the corner of Kingston Rd and Smith Rd, Woodridge.
When they arrived at their destination in Besline St, Kuraby, the passengers assaulted the driver, dragged him from his car and continued to assault him before fleeing the scene in his car.
The driver received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
