Police searching for man connected to serious assault at Mt Isa pub last week
Police have today released a picture of a man who they hope can assist in the investigation of the serious assault of two men at a Mt Isa hotel last week.

Police are appealing to the public and have released a CCTV image related to the serious assault of two men during an altercation at a Mount Isa hotel last week.
The incident involving a group of people at the Marian Street venue occurred last Friday just after 11pm.
A 24-year-old man was punched repeatedly in the head and knocked to the ground.
He was flown to Townsville Hospital with a fractured eye socket.
A 39-year-old man, who tried to stop the confrontation, was also assaulted and as a result, is receiving ongoing treatment for an eye injury.
Police have today released a picture of a man captured from nearby CCTV wearing a white shirt, dark cap and shorts who they think will be able to assist with their inquiries and is urging him to come forward.
