A woman was seriously injured in an alleged unprovoked and random attack in a busy inner Brisbane suburb in broad daylight on Saturday.
The woman, aged 25, was allegedly stabbed multiple times on one of the city’s busiest roads around 2pm.
According to police, the woman was walking along Vulture St in East Brisbane when a man allegedly grabbed her and sliced her with the knife multiple times.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder. He was also charged with going armed to cause fear and possessing a knife in public.
He will face court tomorrow for all three charges.
