Pair to face court after allegedly fleeing crime scene in stolen BMW
A man and woman who allegedly forced their way into a Pacific Pines home on Friday afternoon, and were captured after fleeing police, are set to face court.

A DUO is set to face court today after being charged with multiple offences following a Gold Coast home burglary early yesterday afternoon.
A 40-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have been charged after they allegedly forced their way into a Pacific Pines house and stole multiple items at about 2pm on Friday.
The pair allegedly took, among other things, a computer, tools and a BMW XI from the Victoria Drive house before leaving the residence.
The stolen vehicle was found by police conducting routine patrol rounds being driven along Ormeau’s Creek Street at about midnight.
It’s alleged as officers tried to intercept the vehicle, the 40-year-old Coomera man and driver of the vehicle, faile to stop.
Police then used a tyre deflation device to stop the car, which came to halt in a backyard on Beausang Place, before the pair were taken into custody.
The 40-year-old man has been charged with charges including one count of burglary, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and evasion.
The 29-year-old woman has been charged with one count of burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
They are both due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court.
