One injured, car ditched and man arrested and charged, after Sunshine Coast shooting incident
A southeast Queensland man is due to face court after an alleged shooting incident at suburban property left a 48-year-old man in hospital.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged after an alleged shooting incident on the Sunshine Coast last week.
Three men and a woman allegedly arrived at a Buddina address in a red Hyundai sedan, confronting two men who resided at the house, at about 8.20pm, July 24.
After a verbal altercation, it’s alleged one of the three men took out a firearm, discharging it toward one of the occupants of the Lowana Drive home.
A second man from the car then took out another firearm - believed to be a shotgun - firing towards the house and the occupants, before the red sedan left the scene, police allege.
The sedan was located in a Brisbane shopping centre car park on yesterday.
A 48-year-old Moffat Beach man was rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after suffering numerous pellet wounds from the incident. he has since been discharged.
A 36-year-old Buddina man did not require any medical attention.
Authorities on Thursday arrested and charged a 33-year-old Thornlands man with multiple offences, including acts intended to maim, assault occasioning bodily harm, dangerous conduct with a weapon and possession of firearms.
He is expected to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday.
Investigations continue and police urge anyone with information to come forward.
