One dead after alleged altercation in Hervey Bay
A 57-year-old man has died from serious head injuries and two men are speaking with police after an altercation at a suburban house overnight.

A man has died in Hervey Bay on Wednesday night after an altercation left him with serious head injuries.
Police will allege the 57-year-old was at a Booral house when two men arrived around 9.30pm where an altercation broke out.
He sustained serious injuries to the head and died at the scene.
The men, who are known to the victim, were found by police at a Torquay residence and are assisting police with inquiries following the suspicious death.
