Officer under investigation for alleged stalking, assault and trespassing
A female police officer, who is under investigation for numerous alleged offences, including stalking, assault and trespassing, has been stood down from official duty.

Allegations of stalking, assault and trespassing have seen a female police officer stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service.
The 35-year-old constable from the Southern Region has been tasked with non-operational duties after she was subject to an investigation relating to her off-duty behaviour.
Separately, the woman was also charged with stalking, common assault, wilful damage, trespassing and obstructing police.
She has been issued a notice to appear in the Gatton Magistrates Court on September 7.
The officer’s stand-down order comes as QPS earlier today released a statement that in a separate incident, a 43-year-old female staff member from the Organisational Capability Command had been suspended.
According to police, the staff member, who is not a sworn-in officer, is subject to a current investigation.
She is alleged to have accessed confidential information from the QPS computer system which was not in connection with her official duties.
Allegations against both women have not been substantiated, while investigations into both incidents remain ongoing.
In a statement, Queensland Police said they are transparent and committed to ensuring high standards.
“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct,” the statement said.
“This does not mean the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.”
