Man fighting for life, another charged, after alleged late night assault at West End
A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after allegedly assaulting another man in inner city Brisbane, who remains in hospital in a critical condition.

A MAN remains in hospital with bleeding to his brain after an alleged assault in inner Brisbane left him in a critical condition.
The Highgate Hill man, 41, was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital after the alleged incident unfolded on Boundary Street in West End during the early hours of Monday morning.
Critical Care Paramedics and the High Acuity Response Unit responded to the Boundary St incident just after 12:30am.
A crime scene was established on Boundary Street between Vulture Street, Jane Street and Russell Street for several hours.
Following investigations, detectives from Dutton Park Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a West End man, also 41-years-old, with grievous bodily harm.
He is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to contact police.
