Main Fortitude Valley street blocked after vehicle incident

Motorists are warned of traffic delays after a vehicle incident has blocked off a main Fortitude Valley street.

MOTORISTS driving through the Fortitude Valley are warned to expect traffic delays after a car crash earlier this morning.

James Street is currently blocked in both directions after police say a car driving along the street crashed into a few parked cars, near the Palace Cinemas at about 8.45am.

Queensland Traffic is urging those travelling through the area to proceed with caution and to take an alternative route if possible.

Emergency crews are still currently at the scene.
