Former Gold Coast Titans NRL star Michael Gordon, who was among seven people arrested in police raids targeting an alleged cross-border drug syndicate, will have to wait to learn his fate.

Former Gold Coast Titans NRL star Michael Gordon will have to wait to learn his fate on cocaine supply and possession charges after his case was adjourned.
Gordon was among seven people arrested last November in police raids targeting an alleged cross-border drug syndicate supplying cocaine and MDMA on the Gold and Tweed coasts.
He his lawyer has said Gordon was a ‘small fish’ who intended to guilty to possessing cocaine, but has not entered pleas in relation to the supply charges.
Gordon did not appear in person at Tweed Heads Local Court, where his solicitor asked for the case to be adjourned while the defence makes representations to the prosecution.
The case was adjourned to March 15.
Gordon, who retired from the NRL in 2019, was sacked as an assistant coach by the Titans after the drug bust.
The alleged drug syndicate ringleader, Jack Stuart Jones, is facing almost 30 charges including directing a criminal group and supplying a prohibited drug.
He will next face court on March 12.
One of the alleged syndicate members, Instagram influencer Mikayla Noakes, has pleaded guilty to charges including participating in a criminal group and supplying cocaine, and will be sentenced on March 22.
Her boyfriend, aspiring pro surfer Tate Robinson, has also been charged over the drug bust and is due back in court next month.
