Five charged with road, drug offences after police chase
Five people have been charged with numerous drug and road offences after leading police on a chase involving three stolen cars across suburbs south of Brisbane.

Five people have been charged after allegedly leading police on several chases in three stolen cars on Thursday.
Around 10am on Thursday police saw two allegedly stolen cars, a white Audi sedan and a white Hyundai hatch, along Logan River Rd in Beenleigh.
Police deployed a tyre deflation device on the Audi at Castille Cres but the Hyundai pulled up next to the car and picked up the driver.
The Hyundai was next seen by police on the Pacific Mwy driving dangerously and at high speed until around 11.30am the car left the M1 and entered a Loganholme shopping centre.
It is alleged that three people left the Hyundai and were picked up by a third vehicle, a blue Holden sedan.
A 23-year-old Bundamba woman was found in the car park a short time later and a 34-year-old Marsden man was arrested while attempting to get in the Holden.
Around midday, the Holden was seen driving down Second Ave, Berrinba and pulled over a short time later.
Two offenders were seen getting into a fourth car, a Ford which was not stolen.
Police tracked the car before deflating their tyres on Service Rd around 12.30pm.
Not long after, the car came to a stop on the M1 and three men were taken into custody after trying to flee the scene on foot.
A Bundamba woman was charged with several crimes, including unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A man from Marsden was charged with multiple counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 29-year-old Wynnum man, a 33-year-old Marsden man and a 23-year-old Beenleigh man were also charged with road and drug offences.
All offenders will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court.
