Multiple fire crews were battling a blaze that engulfed a home at Hamilton in Brisbane’s inner northeast overnight.
The house on Kent St was reported ablaze at 11.15pm. Early indications were there was no one still inside.
Police said the street had been closed, with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services reporting the house was “well involved”.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area.
Fire crews battled the blaze into the early hours of the morning, while police established a crime scene as standard procedure.
The incident comes less than a month after another Hamilton home – only a few streets away – was completely destroyed by fire
