Ex-Bandidos boss says ‘true story’ to come out in court
Former Bandidos president George Bejat has used social media to send a message to his supporters after he was charged over an allegedly serious assault in Brisbane.

EX-BANDIDOS bikie president George Bejat has told his supporters to “not believe the lies” over an alleged serious Brisbane assault and has told them “the true story will come out in court”.
Bejat, 33, was one of three men charged over a serious assault in which a man was allegedly bashed outside a Fortitude Valley nightclub last month.

After the incident Bejat took to Instagram and posted a picture of a drink with the message: “My beautiful friends and some not so beautiful … don’t believe what media is writing … every hype sells the story … true story will come out in court day … #stayhydrated”.
Police allege three men became involved in an altercation with the other man about 3.15am and said he was violently assaulted and taken to hospital with facial injuries.
Police said they had charged a 33-year old man from Hamilton with affray, a 31-year-old man from Newstead was charged with affray, failing to take reasonable care with a syringe and three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and a 29-year-old man from Logan was charged with affray, possessing dangerous drugs and breach of a domestic violence order.
Detectives said they believed the men were members of the Comanchero motorcycle gang.
Police said the arrests were part of continued efforts of the Organised Criminal Gangs Group targeting offences of violence and intimidation.
The men will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 23.
