Cash stolen, staff threatened with gun, crowbar in robbery

Staff of a business west of Brisbane have been repeatedly threatened with a firearm as two armed robbers used a crowbar to steal cash from the till.

Police are searching for two men after they threatened staff with a gun in a robbery west of Brisbane on Wednesday night.

Around 11.30pm three men arrived at a Springfield business in a stolen Toyota Camry.

Two of the men entered Springfield Parkway business where one threatened staff with a firearm while the other forced entry into the tills with a crowbar.

He took cash from the till while his accomplice continually threatened staff and demanded money before the pair fled to the car waiting outside.

Police have described the man with the firearm as a solid build and around 185cm tall with what is believed to be a New Zealand accent.

He was described as wearing a grey hoodie, light coloured gloves and a shirt covering his face.

The other man is described as 185cm tall and a slim build, wearing dark ripped jeans, a balaclava, dark hoodie and white shoes.

Anyone who may have seen anything specific in the area is urged to contact police.
