Bundaberg assault: Man flown to Brisbane for facial surgery
A Queensland man who was allegedly punched from behind by a British national during a physical altercation has been flown to Brisbane to undergo surgery to fix the damage to his face.

A MAN is undergoing facial surgery after he was seriously assaulted in Bundaberg on Friday.
A 24-year-old man has been charged after the alleged serious assault that occurred at a Bundaberg hotel on Princess St just before midnight.
Police will allege two groups of men were involved in a physical altercation when a 20-year-old was punched in the head from behind.
As a result of the blow, he fell back and struck his head on a pot plant before hitting the concrete floor.
The 20-year-old man was taken to Bundaberg Hospital for head and facial injuries and later flown to Brisbane for surgery.
The 24-year-old, a United Kingdom national, was charged with grievous bodily harm.
He is expected to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday.
